Jack P. Garniewski, Jr., CPA/PFS, CFP®, AEP®, Principal

As the President, Jack leads seasoned professionals who are responsible for delivering advice and service to a national client base of multi-generational families and business owners. Jack works directly with clients to help manage the multi-dimensional aspects of their family's financial affairs.

Jack and his teams work closely with clients and their advisors to develop and support financial strategies that assist clients in meeting their current needs, while planning for long-term goals. For some of his clients, this also means serving as executive director, business manager, advisor, and confidant, as well as developing intergenerational strategies customized to best meet their needs.

Jack has more than three decades of experience in providing advice and overseeing the execution of financially related solutions for wealthy families. This includes the strategic leadership and business management responsibilities associated with oversight of multiple family offices and other entities.

Jack P. Garniewski, Jr.

Jack holds an MBA in Taxation from Drexel University and earned his bachelor's degree from Villanova University. Jack is a Certified Public Accountant in Delaware and Pennsylvania. He serves as Director to the NAEPC (National Association of Estate Planners and Councils), and as director on numerous family foundations. He is President of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Art Museum and serves on the Board of Directors for various professional and community committees.

He frequently speaks at Family Office and other related professional conferences locally and nationwide, including: The National Association of Estate Planners and Councils, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Wilmington Tax Group, the Delaware Tax Institute, the Family Firm Institute, Attorneys for Family Held Enterprise, and the Connex International Strategic Investment Sector Meeting. Born and raised in New Castle, Delaware, Jack currently resides in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Michele L. Ahwash, CFP®, AEP®, CTFA, Principal 

Michele is a Principal of Family Office Solutions and participates in the overall management of the company. She also serves as the relationship manager for key client relationships. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. 

Before joining Family Office Solutions, she was employed at Wilmington Trust Company as a Senior Relationship Manager where she provided wealth management and advisory services for ultra-high net worth families. Prior to joining Wilmington Trust, Michele was employed at Tiedemann Trust Company for 7 years, where she handled all aspects of relationship management and financial planning for ultra-high net worth clients. Prior to Tiedemann, Michele was employed at The Bryn Mawr Trust Company for 8 years, where she managed all aspects of trust and estate administration and served as Chair of the Real Estate Committee. Before that, she worked at the Law Offices of Beatty Lincke, in Media, Pennsylvania, for 16 years, where she was responsible for estate planning and administration, as well as fiduciary and individual income tax preparation.

Michele L. Ahwash

Michele is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor and an Accredited Estate Planner. She earned her Master's in Business Administration degree from Widener University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Management) from Widener University, graduating summa cum laude. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association, the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, the Delaware Bankers Association, the National Association of Estate Planning Councils, and the Institute of Certified Bankers. Michele has written several articles that have been published in the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council Newsletter.

Michele serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors of Delaware Humane Association and serves on the board of directors of a Private Foundation with over $30 million in endowed funds, and the Knolls of Birmingham Homeowner's Association. She also serves on a number of professional and community committees. Born and raised in Wallingford, Pennsylvania, Michele currently resides in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Sherrie L.M. Robinson, Operations & Compliance Director

Sherrie brings 25 years of financial industry and operations expertise to her role. She manages the daily operations of the business, ensuring they are as efficient and effective as possible to serve our families. With her background of working closely with audit departments, vendor management, marketing, and legal, she is also in charge of Compliance where she develops policies, procedures, and keeps abreast of the changing regulatory and security environments. Sherrie also serves as a member of our Senior Management Team.

Sherrie L.M. Robinson

Prior to joining Family Office Solutions, Sherrie worked for Wilmington Trust Company for over 20 years. Her varied background included time spent working in Employee Retirement Benefits, Asset Management, the Wilmington Mutual Fund family, and as Director of Operations with Wilmington Family Office for over 10 years. Before her career with Wilmington Trust Company, Sherrie spent time serving in both Conference Service and Sales roles for the Arizona Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.

Sherrie earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Finance Management from Goldey-Beacom College, where she graduated magna cum laude. She is currently the Treasurer for the Doberman Pinscher Rescue of PA, Inc. and a regular volunteer at Tri-State Bird Rescue and Research, and the Delaware Historical Society. Born and raised in England, Sherrie currently resides in southern Chester County, Pennsylvania.

William J. Kuhn, IV, CPA, CTFA, MST, Tax & Accounting Director

Bill is responsible for managing a team of tax and accounting professionals. His team provides tax and accounting advice and develops tax planning strategies that benefit the clients over the long term and help transfer wealth to the future generations.

Bill joined Family Office Solutions in July of 2017. Prior to joining Family Office Solutions, Bill was employed at Wilmington Family Office for over 11 years, where he managed a team of professionals who provided accounting and tax advice for large family relationships. These services included financial management, tax planning and compliance, cash flow analysis, LLC administration and investment accounting.

Bill Kuhn

Bill also provides expertise in investment partnership taxation and accounting as well as trust taxation, he specializes in personal tax planning and gifting strategies. Bill enjoys working with client’s attorneys and financial advisors in developing solutions that best fit the client’s goals.

Bill holds a MST from Villanova University. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond and graduated from the Cannon Trust School. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Delaware and a Certified
Trust and Financial Advisor as well as a member of the Delaware Society of CPA’s.

Bill currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware, where he was born and raised

Susan S. Fisher, CPA, AEP®, Tax & Accounting Director

Susan provides comprehensive tax and estate planning to high-net-worth individuals and multigenerational families. Susan has more than 30 years of tax accounting experience, specializing in the tax issues related to trusts, individuals, limited liability companies, and investment partnerships. Her previous experience includes serving as Director of Operations for Commonwealth Trust Company and as Tax Director and Principal at local CPA firms.

Susan S. Fisher

Susan has published articles on various tax and trust-related topics, including retirement planning and foreign tax reporting requirements for trusts. She has frequently spoken for professional organizations, including the Delaware Society of CPAs and the Delaware Bankers Association.

Susan is a graduate of Northwestern University, where she majored in Mathematics, and she studied Accounting at the University of Delaware. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of Delaware and holds the AEP® (Accredited Estate Planner) designation. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants. Susan is a past President of the Board of Directors of the Estate Planning Council of Delaware. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Delaware Center for Horticulture, and she has been active in many non-profit and civic organizations. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Susan currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware.

Erin M. Kaufman, B.S. Accounting, Senior Tax & Accounting Manager

As the Senior Tax & Accounting Manager, Erin is responsible for assisting clients to further their financial goals, manage their accounts, and prepare various types of tax returns for individuals, trusts, and entities. She also assists the leadership team in preparing proposals for potential new clients.

Erin M. Kaufman

Prior to joining Family Office Solutions, LLC, Erin worked for Belfint, Lyons & Schuman, P.A. and Wilmington Trust Company. Erin served as Vice-Chair of the Delaware Society of Certified Public Accountants Tax Committee for several years. Erin has worked in the tax and accounting field for the last 12 years.

Erin holds a B.S. from West Chester University, and currently is attending Wilmington University for her Master's in Accounting. She intends to sit for the CPA exam upon completion of her Master's degree program. Erin is also the proud mother of two wonderful boys and lives in North Wilmington, Delaware. In her leisure time, she enjoys watching sports with her family, taking her sons to the park and baking.

Rebecca L. Hoyle, CPA (Inactive), Contractor

Rebecca is a contractor with a strong background of more than 12 years in private equity accounting, investor reporting and asset management. Rebecca will support the Family Office Solutions team by advising and reviewing financial reporting practices and packages. She brings a skill set that will allow us to effectively report to our clients in a streamlined and efficient manner.

Along with supporting Family Office Solutions, she runs her own real estate consulting firm, Colebrook Real Estate Advisors, and owns/manages a growing apartment portfolio in the Philadelphia area. Prior to starting her own business, she was employed by LEM Capital for 7 years and Graham Partners for 3 years, two very prominent private equity firms in the greater Philadelphia region. She served as controller for these two firms, managing the financial reporting, loan servicing, investor reporting and communications as well as the quarterly valuation processes.

In 2011, she was promoted to the Director of Asset Management at LEM Capital where she oversaw the entire real estate investment portfolio that was ~10,000 units by the time of her departure in late 2015. This role required extensive knowledge of each individual apartment building, the market where the investment was located and understanding expected performance to meet or exceed this expectation.

Rebecca is a Certified Public Accountant, which is inactive at this time due to the transition from an accounting focus in her career to an investment asset management focus. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Drexel University, graduating summa cum laude. Rebecca serves as a committeewoman in her township as well as the treasurer for the local running club. She is also very active in her local church, regularly serving in the choir and special musical events. Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Rebecca currently resides in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Erika H. Henchey, Executive Assistant

Erika H. Henchey

Erika brings 16 years of Administrative experience to her role. Erika is responsible for providing administrative support services to the Family Office Solutions team, which provides customized family office services for our clients. She directly assists the President of the firm, while also performing support functions for the entire staff as they work on client matters. Erika is instrumental in the organization and maintenance of the firm's physical and online document policy.

Before joining Family Office Solution, LLC, Erika worked for Wilmington Trust Company for 11 years, where she supported the Director of the Family Office practice in providing personalized client service.

Erika earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business Management from the University of Delaware. Born and raised in Norwalk, Connecticut, Erika currently resides in Wilmington, Delaware.
